The Branched Chain Amino Acids namely L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine are valued for their anabolic and anticatabolic properties. It is used in a 2:1:1 ratio before and/or during endurance exercise may help spare muscle tissue. It is used after strength training, BCAA's help kick-start protein synthesis which plays an important role in muscle growth.
